GENERAL
Leiðin heim reserves the right to cancel orders, e.g. due to incorrect
price information and to change prices or stop offering product types
without notice. The right to confirm orders by telephone is reserved.
FEE:
The customer agrees to pay the full fee for the service in advance.
PAYMENT:
Once a fee has been paid, it is non-refundable unless the service is
cancelled. A refund can be requested one day before the service is to
take place.
PARTICIPATION:
The course provider reserves the right to cancel a course if there are not
enough participants. Participants are refunded immediately when the
course is cancelled.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
The seller promises the buyer full confidentiality regarding all
information provided by the buyer in connection with the transaction.
Information will not be disclosed to third parties under any
circumstances.
Law and jurisdiction:
Service transactions are subject to the terms defined in the Act on
House-to-House and Distance Selling Agreements No. 46/2000 and the
Act on Service Purchases No. 42/2000.
If a dispute arises between the parties regarding the content of these
terms of business or due to violations of them, the relevant case may be
brought before the Complaints Committee for Services and Liquid Asset
Purchases at the Consumer Agency. If all else fails, a case may be
brought before the Reykjavík District Court in accordance with the
provisions of Act No. 91/1991.
Validity
These terms are valid from 15.2.2024
